This document gives dates for the commencement of proceedings in the High Court of Hong Kong Court of First Instance, and invites the defendant (The Australian Government) to formally rebut the charges bought against them no later than the 24th August, 2026. If they do not submit a rebuttal, then by tacit acquiescence (ignoring the claims), Andrew Morton Garrett, the International Crown Attorney General wins by default, and the case is closed.
If the defendant does submit a formal rebuttal, Andrew has until the 5th October 2026 to formally reply to that rebuttal. It’s highly unlikely that the defendant (The Australian Government, et al) will submit a rebuttal, however, because they’ve already shown that they cannot dispute his claims- the very reason the Australian Tax Office declared Nolle Prosequi in the first place. (See previous document AMG 5857 for details of Nolle Prosequi)
